Finishing Strong: Rehab Medical’s Strategic Plan for Setting Another Record-Breaking Year

ree

Earlier this year, we shared how Rehab Medical’s point system works and how every employee, not just sales representatives, plays a vital role in helping us reach our goals. This month, we want to take that story a little further by sharing our progress so far and how we plan to finish the year strong.

Our Goals: Where We Stand and What’s Left to Achieve

This year, we set a sustainable goal of reaching 24,180 points, which is equivalent to helping more than 23,000 patients. As August wrapped, we successfully delivered more than 14,000 points, putting us at 89% of our end-of-year goal. Reaching this milestone before entering the final quarter of the year is a testament to the hard work and relentless efforts of our employees and collective offices this year.

If you get a moment in your day, please take some time out to thank those from our most seasoned offices who have been contributing to the high success we’ve had so far.

The Game Plan: How We’re Powering Towards Year-End Goals

To close the remaining 11% of the year, we’ve implemented a few key strategies to help us stay focused and keep the momentum going.

We created a new career advancement pathway for patient care representatives (PCR). The PCR Career Pathway. This new career advancement program is designed to provide a career advancement pathway for PCRs to easily transition into a sales representative role. After working as a PCR for one year or obtaining an ATP certification, PCRs can enter the PCR Career Pathway program to help them refine their skills and gain a better understanding of the role of a Rehab Medical sales representative. If you are currently a PCR interested in advancing your career, sign up for the PCR Career Pathway program here.

We increased our in-service budget for each sales representative from $8,000 to $10,000 per year. By increasing our budget for in-services, we anticipate picking up more referrals from account sources and, in turn, helping more patients.

Lastly, we rolled out a submissions contest for the month of September. The contest was for various departments to complete the most submissions for the month. As a result, the top three winners of this contest received compensation to donate to a charitable organization of their choice. First-place winners received a $3,000 donation, second-place winners received a $1,500 donation, and third-place winners received a $1,000 donation.

Congratulations to our top three winners!

  1. Great Lakes region with 202% submissions

  2. West region with 195% submissions

  3. South region with 184% submissions

Due to these efforts, we’ve noticed an increase in referrals, submissions, approvals, and points, which equate to improving more patients’ lives. Thank you to everyone who helped us achieve this milestone!

Your Impact Matters: How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line

Everyone plays a vital role in helping us achieve our goals. If everyone gives it their best efforts to finish the year, there’s so much more we can accomplish, and so many more lives we can improve. As Vice President of Sales Keith Hawkins shares,

“We’ve come a long way, but the year’s not over yet. I encourage everyone to keep giving their best effort; we still have a lot to accomplish, and many more records we can set as a company. Let’s finish strong.”
