As 2025 draws to a close and we reflect on all we’ve accomplished, both personally and professionally, we hope you fondly recall the impact you’ve made in your community through your Volunteer Time Off (VTO)!
Reflecting on a Year of Impact: Your VTO in Action
This year was an incredible one for volunteering across Rehab Industries. Whether you volunteered individually or with your team, thank you for investing your time, energy, and compassion into your community. Your efforts continue to show that the employees of Rehab Medical, Cork Medical, and Forza truly care.
We have proudly partnered with Servants at Work (SAWs) for many years, supporting their mission to provide free accessibility ramps for individuals in need. These ramps empower people to safely leave their homes and participate more fully in their communities.
In 2025, employees across Rehab Industries participated in six ramp builds, demonstrating ongoing dedication to service. A major milestone occurred when SAWs celebrated the construction of their 5,000th ramp, made even more special by the involvement of Rehab Medical employees.
Team members in Detroit also volunteered at Camp Cavell alongside Volunteers Assisting the Disabled (VAD). This summer program provides a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with muscular dystrophy and other disabilities. Our employees jumped right in—running Bingo games, making tie-dye shirts, repairing mobility equipment, and helping with other camp activities. Their efforts reinforced our values of community care and hands-on support.
Beyond these events, employees supported numerous other causes including Hogs for a Cause, New Hope, Make-A-Wish, Million Meal, AFSP, NeuroHope, Parent Project MD 5K, and the Community Rehab Hospital West Trunk-or-Treating event. Thank you to every employee who took the time to make a difference!
Looking Ahead: Serving This Holiday Season
This holiday season, employees from Cork Medical and Forza will join team members from Rehab Medical’s Customer Experience, Compliance, HR, and Information Technology departments to serve at Firefly Family and Children Alliance’s annual Hope for the Holidays event.
As a sponsor of Santa’s Workshop, we’re helping bring joy to children and families in need. Last year, this initiative supported more than 1,300 young people across central Indiana, many of whom had their holiday wishes fulfilled thanks to generous donors.
Haven’t Used Your VTO Yet? There’s Still Time!
Chances are, there are service opportunities in your area—especially during the holiday season. If you haven’t used your VTO yet, we encourage you to do so! All full-time employees at any Rehab Industries company are eligible. Just confirm with your manager that your daily duties will be covered. Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit qualifies.
Thank you for stepping up, giving back, and continuing to RISE to the occasion. Let’s finish the year strong!
