Meet the New HR Team Members!


We are thrilled to introduce two talented additions to our HR team—Krista Chester and Tyler Melloh—who are already making an impact at Rehab Medical. Both bring a wealth of experience and passion for their roles, helping us strengthen the foundation of our employee experience. Their enthusiasm for people-focused work and growth within their fields is a perfect match for our values and culture.


Krista Chester, human resources manager, brings over twelve years of HR experience to Rehab Medical, across four states and various industries, including municipal, association, services, civic, and healthcare. Her expertise spans employee relations, benefits, policies, and procedures, making her a valuable asset to our HR department. A continuous learner, Krista thrives on opportunities to grow and improve, fully embracing Rehab Medical’s dynamic environment. One of her guiding principles is encapsulated in her favorite quote: “Hire the Who and not the What.”


Krista holds an associate degree from Sierra College, California, and is PHRca certified, a prestigious qualification in California HR management. Reflecting on her journey to Rehab Medical, Krista said, “I clearly remember exactly why I applied for this role. The job posting read: 'We hire based on attitude, aptitude, and a drive to succeed,' and that personally resonated with me.”


Krista is passionate about our company’s commitment to employee development, from mentorship programs to regular events that foster a positive workplace culture. Outside of work, she has a passion for cooking and baking, and her skills have won several awards, including third place in the Gravenstein Apple Fair Apple Pie Contest and first place in a neighborhood barbecue side dish contest.


Tyler Melloh, talent acquisition specialist, joins us with several years of experience recruiting for hard-to-fill positions in the behavioral health field. At Rehab Medical, he is excited to apply his expertise in efficiently managing the recruitment process while delivering top-tier results. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Indiana University at Indianapolis, where he worked as a research and teaching assistant. His background in psychology provides a unique perspective on talent acquisition, allowing him to connect meaningfully with candidates.


In his role, Tyler will be partnering with hiring managers to fill open positions, contributing to the ongoing success of Rehab Medical’s mission. “I’m most excited to make meaningful connections with others while developing new skills for my career,” Tyler shared. His goal is to ensure new hires feel welcomed and inspired by Rehab Medical’s award-winning culture from day one.


We are excited to have Krista and Tyler on board, and we know their contributions will strengthen our HR department and support our continued growth. Their dedication to fostering a positive and enriching environment for both employees and patients aligns perfectly with our mission, and we look forward to the great work they will accomplish.
