Rehab Industries Concludes its Celebratory 2024 Annual Conference

On Thursday January 4th and Friday January 5th, the Rehab Industries team hosted its 2024 Annual Conference at the Westin Indianapolis to honor and celebrate the many successes seen in 2023.

Beginning Thursday morning, more than 20 emerging leaders completed their capstone course, demonstrating their understanding of how to be a more effective and influential leader. Of those emerging leaders, five of them took an interesting approach to demonstrate their newly acquired leadership skills. By utilizing a simple illustration of how to make the perfect peanut butter and jelly sandwich, this team was able to educate and encourage an employee who struggled with understanding their assigned tasks.

Following LEAD presentations, the Rehab Industries team convened at the Crane Bay Event Center for a celebratory evening for its sales and operations successes. To put an interesting twist on the evening, the overarching theme was sports focused, a cultural staple for the Rehab Industries network of companies. The company even commissioned its Director of Marketing Matt Gottfried, a sports enthusiast, to be the host and sportscaster.

The first to take the stage was Quantum, the event’s sponsor. Opening with a brief celebratory speech, Quantum highlighted the company’s record growth and success in 2023, concluding with a final congratulatory remark.

As the evening continued to unfold, Chief Sales Officer Keith Hawkins and Vice President of Operations Jarrad Rankin started to announce the Excellence Club award winners.

All winners received an invitation to attend the 2024 Excellence Club trip scheduled for late February where they will relish in the amenities of the Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

But the night did not end there. Before convening, the Rehab Industries team had one more award to give out, the Circle of Excellence Award, a first in the history of Rehab Industries’ award ceremonies. This prestigious award recognized two individuals who made a lasting impact on the company and the patients they serve for more than a decade. Congratulations to Clay Stewart and Zack Pasley! Heading into day two, Friday started with a bang! After a welcome message from Rehab Medical President Kevin Gearheart, employees attended a series of personal and professional development expo sessions ranging from CRT best practices, tech training, and office assistant development to learning how to maintain wellness during uncertainty, how your HSA and 401k work together, and tips on suicide prevention. Following expo sessions were individual company presentations that lead into motivational speaker, and Paralympic gold medalist Patrick “Blake” Leeper.

In addition to sharing his incredible journey of becoming an eight-time Paralympic medalist, he shared words of wisdom and encouragement that showcased how staying positive and turning weaknesses into strengths can help anyone overcome adversity.
