ATP Prep Program
The ATP Prep Program is designed to help aspiring Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) build a strong foundation in complex rehab technology through a structured, four-month training experience. With interactive learning, personalized mentorship, and one-on-one support, this program prepares employees to confidently pursue ATP certification and make a greater impact on patients’ lives.

What You’ll Learn
Comprehensive Knowledge
Participants will dive into anatomy, master key acronyms, and learn how to apply their expertise to create life-changing custom mobility solutions. You’ll complete online courses through VGM, review RESNA position papers, and study the Cook and Pulgar text and HAAT Model. The prep course will also provide participants with preparation strategies for the exam. You’ll have the opportunity to complete a practice exam and have multiple opportunities for open forum discussions.
Interactive Learning
Participants will engage in 4 months of virtual small group trainings and self-study sessions tailored to help you succeed.
Personalized support
Participants will benefit from one-on-one mentorship and accountability through our dedicated National ATP QA Trainer.
Eligibility Requirements
For High School Graduates

3 years of Assistive Technology (AT) services experience

30 hours of AT training*
For Bachelor’s Degree Holders

10 hours of AT training*

2,000 hours of work experience

Understanding which ATP career path aligns with your goals:
ATP Tech – $28/hr
Has the ability to make deliveries while taking great care of patients. Delivers and adjusts equipment to meet the patient's unique needs. Provides follow-up recommendations after delivery and ensures patients receive the right life-enhancing mobility solution.
ATP Support – $80K + Bonus
Fits the patient for equipment and completes deliveries as needed. Can oversee the entire mobility process from evaluation to delivery, ensuring the patient’s needs are met at every stage. Collaborates closely with technicians and other ATPs to ensure optimal outcomes.
ATP Sales/Sales Manager – $72K + Commission
Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources. Has the ability to conduct on-site evaluations with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and patients. Can fortify new and existing territories, while enhancing communication and support throughout the patient journey.
Exclusive $10,000 Bonus
The First 10 Operations employees to obtain their certification in 2025 will receive a $10,000 lump sum bonus.
Tuition Reimbursement Assistance
You’ll want to take advantage of our Tuition Reimbursement Program when working toward your Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification. There is no waiting period, and you can receive up to 75% reimbursement (max. $2,500 per year) to help with RESNA certification costs, making it even easier to invest in professional growth!
