Core Values Program
Living Our Core Values to RISE Together
At Rehab Industries, our Core Values aren’t just words on a wall—they’re a living, breathing part of our culture. They guide how we show up, support one another, and deliver meaningful impact every day. The Core Value Award Program is our way of celebrating the individuals who go above and beyond in living out those values.
Whether it’s showing compassion, demonstrating a relentless work ethic, or lifting up a teammate, these actions deserve to be recognized—and rewarded. Because when we live our values, we “RISE” together and bring our mission to life.
Why It Matters to You
Taking a moment to recognize a coworker can do more than boost morale, it can reinforce the kind of culture we’re building. Nominating someone for a Core Value Award is an opportunity to spotlight the everyday excellence that often goes unseen.
It’s also a meaningful way to contribute to someone’s personal and professional journey. Your nomination could be the first step in their path to the Excellence Club, one of Rehab Industries’ highest honors.
What’s Offered
When you nominate someone for a Core Value Award, you’re helping them earn recognition across one of three impactful categories:
-
Energetic to Achieve
Being Energetic to Achieve means more than just working hard—it’s about approaching each day with drive, initiative, and a commitment to lifting others up along the way. This value has fueled innovation, sparked bold ideas, and pushed us to break new ground. From setting ambitious goals to supporting peers in reaching theirs, this go-getter mindset has been key to our sustained growth and success.
-
Hard Work with Balance
Our belief in Hard Work with Balance has created a workplace where high performance and personal well-being go hand in hand. We encourage team members to give their all during the workday—and then fully unplug to enjoy life outside of work. This value has helped us build a philosophy of trust, longevity, and resilience, enabling employees to thrive without burning out and supporting a sustainable path for long-term success.
-
Compassionate
Compassion is more than a value to us—it’s a way of working. Being Compassionate means showing empathy in every interaction, whether with a teammate or a patient/customer. It means actively listening, showing emotional support, and leading with the goal of improving lives. This value has shaped our customer care approach and fostered strong, meaningful connections across our teams and communities.
Each nominee receives a Core Value placard and commemorative pin to proudly display their achievement.
At the end of each year, a selection committee reviews all nominations and selects top performers based on both the number and quality of nominations received. These individuals are officially inducted into the Excellence Club, recognized at the Annual Conference, and invited to attend an all-expenses-paid, tropical vacation with one guest.
How to Submit a Nomination
Nominate a teammate anytime by submitting a Core Value Nomination Form. The form can be found in the HR Resources section of your intranet or by reaching out through the HR Help Desk.
Make your nomination count—be specific in describing the moment or behavior that stood out. Strong, detailed submissions help the review committee fully understand the impact your nominee has made.
See what employees have to say about the Excellence Club trip:
I feel very lucky amongst employees for the amount of access I have to Kevin, Patrick and the other senior leaders. Being able to connect with that group on a truly personal level was great. The recognition of the hard work it took to be included on the trip from Kevin and Patrick felt great.
Mike Kienholtz
The best part of the Excellence Trip was getting the opportunity to connect with colleagues outside of the workplace while celebrating our shared achievements. It was a great reminder that our hard work is valued and that the company truly invests in its employees.
Amee Elgin
It was so refreshing to see everyone unwind and let their guard down, especially with people I might not have had the chance to connect with otherwise. It felt like a true opportunity to bond with colleagues from all over the country. I am incredibly grateful to be selected for the trip—it really made me reflect on how far we’ve come and reminded me of the importance of staying committed to our mission and core values. It’s a great motivator to keep pushing myself to improve year after year.
